Facial Acupuncture is a natural way to bring more vitality to the face, encouraging a healthy glow.
As part of a facial
session I use gentle Chinese massage
(TuiNa) techniques as well as acupuncture.
Chinese medicine works by improving the flow of life force (or Qi
energy) overall. Facial acupuncture concentrates particularly on
the face.
I am a fully qualified acupuncturist
and a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
|
What does it feel like?
Surprisingly relaxing. Many people report a remarkable feeling of chill-out during the session.
Can facial acupuncture be holistic?
Yes.
In order to balance the treatment to the face, acupuncturists add some holistic treatment elsewhere on the
body.
Is it expensive?
No, and certainly not compared to
other facial treatments. To view my reasonable fees, click here

|
Is it different
from botox treatment?
Yes, it is. Acupuncture needles are tiny and completely different
from the ones used for injections, and no chemicals are used at all.
Acupuncture encourages more Qi
(energy) to flow to the face.
What happens in a session?
You will lie comfortably while very fine, sterile, disposable needles are inserted into certain places on your
on your face, arms and legs. I will explain and discuss with you everything I do.

About
me, Cornelia (Nini) Davies
I qualified in Chinese acupuncture in the UK in 1983. Throughout the last twenty-five years I have continually added skills to my practice.
In particular, in the late 80’s and 90’s, I added healing and also taught meditation.
In 2006 I spent several months in China, updating my acupuncture skills at a
World Health Organisation approved college and in traditional Chinese hospitals.
I trained in facial acupuncture
with Jamie Hedger.
I look forward to meeting you, and
helping you achieve your wishes. |
