Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture is a natural way to bring more vitality to the face, encouraging a healthy glow.
I am a fully qualified acupuncturist and I use gentle Chinese massage (TuiNa) techniques as well as acupuncture.
Chinese medicine works by improving the flow of life force (or Qi energy), and this is what makes it effective in revitalising the face.
What does it feel like?
Surprisingly relaxing. Many people report a remarkable feeling of chill-out during the session.

How many sessions will I need?
Most people have a series of six sessions, though you can certainly start by booking just one, if you prefer.
Some clients like to book further top-up sessions at a later date.
Pre-booking consultation
If you would like to have a chat before taking this exciting step, you can arrange a free fifteen-minute consultation.
Do I need to do anything?
Please have a light meal or snack up to two hours before your session.
Wear as little make-up as you feel comfortable with when you attend a session.

Are there added health benefits?
Yes, there can be. Because acupuncture is a holistic therapy, it is almost
impossible to use it without a general benefit to the body-mind-spirit.
In order to balance the treatment to the face, acupuncturists add some holistic treatment elsewhere on the body, so it is quite usual for a client receiving facial treatment to mention, that after one or two sessions, they are aware of an improvement in their overall health.
Is it different from botox treatment?
Yes, it is. Acupuncture needles are tiny and completely different to the ones used for injections, and no chemicals are used at all. However, because facial acupuncture encourages more energy to flow to the face, it may help to soften wrinkles naturally.
"Thank you for doing this treatment on me! It’s definitely given me a boost! My
skin looks clearer, and feels more alive after the
'pins', massage and rose oil. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and it’s made me realise I should take time for myself. I’ve felt generally better in myself and I’ve slept better, as well."

What happens in a session?
You will lie comfortably
while very fine, sterile, disposable needles are inserted into
certain places on your arms and legs, and on your face.
After that I will use
relaxing and toning Chinese massage and tiger warmers on your face.
I will
explain and discuss with you everything I do.
What are tiger
warmers?
They are a wonderful way
of bringing gentle warmth to your face, using special moxa holders.
Moxa is a Chinese herb that has been used for centuries to warm up
muscles.
Is it expensive?
No. To view my reasonable fees, click here
About
me, Cornelia (Nini) Davies
I qualified in Chinese acupuncture in the UK in 1983. Throughout the last twenty-five years I have continually added skills to my practice.
In particular, in the late 80’s and 90’s, I added healing and also taught meditation.
In 2006 I spent several months in China, updating my acupuncture skills at a
World Health Organisation approved college and in traditional Chinese hospitals.
I look forward to speaking
to you and meeting you, and
helping you achieve your wishes.
